The Rev. Jennifer Highsmith is a deacon assigned to King of Peace. Jennifer was ordained on September 6, 2006 and transferred to King of Peace for her first permanent assignment.

Jennifer's servant ministry includes being the Chaplain for a local order of the Daughters of the King. Jennifer is employed by Hospice of the Golden Isles, Brunswick and serves as their Manager for the Camden County pilot office. She also assists at the King Bay Naval Base Chapel "Dinner On Us" helping to serve a hot meal to active duty Navy and Marine personnel. Jennifer collects used magazines to bring to area Assisted Living centers, homebound Hospice patients and homebound parishioners.

She has served as KOP Art Guild Chair. She volunteers with The American Cancer Society during its' yearly relay for life in Camden County. Jennifer studies Taekwondo at Kings Bay Navy Base and has been in several Taekwondo exihibitions. Rev. Dcn. Jennifer's teen aged son, Zachary, is an Advanced Placement/Honors student at Camden County High School where he is also a member of the Senior Beta Club.

Jennifer also often assists Bishop Louttit (with whom she is pictured at left) when he does visits to any church in this end of Georgia.
