Sewing Fellowship

The Sewing Fellowship will meet this month on Friday April 12, 19, and 26, from 2-5 in the conference room.   We will continue working on projects for children in difficult situations.  If you don’t want to sew there is plenty of pinning, pressing and stuffing.  If you would like to be on an email list to know when we are meeting, email Jenna at socialdolphin@gmail.com or Roberta at roberta.lindau@gmail.com.  We hope you will join us.

Episcopal Church Women 2024 Annual Retreat:

“Looking forward to a New Day and a New Way”

The Episcopal Church Women and Daughters of the King of the Diocese of Georgia have embraced a vital idea of Paul’s, thus the theme for this year’s Celebration of Women’s Ministries is, “Looking Forward to a New Day and a New Way.” This years event will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Albany April 19-20, 2024. The weekend will give participants a weekend of true refreshment and encouragement which will provide spiritual nourishment and send participants out into the world with a great new energy for the work that they do.

The keynote speaker is Lisa H. Towle, a former President of the Board of National Episcopal Church Women, and an award-winning journalist, writer, and editor. She’ll be speaking on the theme for the year and is sure to captivate and delight the audience. This year’s workshops – “Making and praying the Anglican Rosary,” “The Devotional Experience,” and “ECW ABCs & 123s” – will help participants achieve spiritual and practical growth.

Registration is now open! There are two ways to get connected: participants may register online or fill out the linked registration form and mail it to St. Paul’s with your check. The deadline for registration is April 10.
