We are putting together a uniform closet.  If you know of any lightly used uniforms that can be used again please give them to the Scoutmaster. Thanx!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you are starting to put together a uniform for your son, just start with the short sleeve shirt, a council strip patch, the World Crest patch and the Numbers 2, 2, & 6.  Don't worry about pants, hats, belts or socks, etc...

I have been asked,"What do I need to be a Boy Scout?"...

...Well, this is what you have to do to be a Boy Scout in Troop 226.

1. Be 11 years old or finished with the 5th grade.

2. Complete a Boy Scout Application and pay the registration fee of $10.00 a year.

3. Come to the meetings at 7:00PM Tuesday night at King of Peace Episcopal Church.

4. Wear the Troop t-Shirt you received when you registered or your uniform when you have it.

5. Participate with the troop and try to learn and live by the Boy Scout Oath and Law.

6. Go Camping.

7. Have FUN!

The following are a list of things you do not have to do to be a Boy Scout in Troop 226.

1. Eat a bug.

2. Have the complete $150+ Boy Scout Uniform.

3. Pay the Scoutmaster $100,000 in unmarked bills.

4. Be a member of King of Peace Episcopal Church.

5. Write a 5000 word essay on the meaning of corn flakes.
