Events
Our worship services and all of the other meetings listed below take place at
King of Peace, 6230 Laurel Island Parkway in Kingsland. To
take a peek inside King of Peace, you should check out the photos in our online scrapbook.
Sunday Worship Services
Our weekly communion services are at 8:30 and 10 a.m. Both services are
taken from the Episcopal Churches Book of Common Prayer and share the same
sermon.
Our 8:30 a.m. service is more reflective, the music is
hymns played on a grand piano. The 10 a.m. service is more celebratory with
guitars and a drum playing a mix of hymns and praise songs. Dress
is casual. Professional child care is provided at the 10 a.m. service.

Sundays for Kids
Each Sunday, we offer a nursery for birth to age six. We have an online
version of our brochure, Making Room for Children in
Church that gives some practical guidance on how to make the worship experience more
welcoming for children.
We also offer a Children's Church that takes kids in kindergarten through third
grade out for a portion of the service to hear the lessons for the day in a kid-friendly
fashion. The kids return to take communion with their families.
Once a month we hold a Kids in the Kingdom
Sunday. Kids stay after the service for a
meal, a Bible story, crafts and music. Kids from age two to twelve are invited to stay
after the service for the fun, while parents slip out for a lunch on their own.
Sundays for Teens
Our youth group for teens meets at least once a month. We are also involved in
youth events in our diocese which give King of Peace teens at least eight
other big group activities to take part in each year with other teens from
Episcopal Churches around South Georgia.

Mondays
Jr. Girl Scouts meet at King of Peace Mondays at 4:30
p.m.
Tuesdays
Boy Scout Troop
226 meets Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Wednesdays
We have a 6:15 p.m. mid-week communion service. The
45-minute worship service is a great way to recharge your spiritual
batteries mid week. There is a short sermon and the music is on our grand
piano.
From 7-8 p.m. each Wednesday we offer a
study. These vary during the year and are announced in the bulletin and
newsletter.
Labyrinth
Our labyrinth is available for prayer two days a
month, generally the first Friday of the Month from 4-6 p.m. and the
following day from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This does vary some months, but our
calendar of events has the exact days and
our labyrinth page has more information on this
ancient form of prayer.
