Final Worship Service in the House

On Sunday, January 18, 2004, we celebrated our last worship service in the house, which has been home to King of Peace for three and a half years.

At the conclusion of the communion service, we removed sacred objects from the sanctuary and prayed a prayer of thanksgiving for the building as it is secularized. We then processed out to the new building and placed the various objects in the new building, and sang "Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place" before the dismissal. Then we went back to the house and removed the remaining furnishings. We are thankful for Jill Helton and Griffin Logue who took these photos.
